ABOUT ME

I don't remember how old I was when I first heard the word "empath." I do know that I was an adult when I began to understand that's what I am and have always been...an empath!

Since I was a child, I have felt that I was somewhat of a "different" person who never quite fit in anywhere. I was the strong one who seemed to have to learn everything the hard way; there was usually a lesson for me to learn and it was typically not easy.

I grew up in a harsh environment with frequent bullying and domestic and mental abuse. I also lived with family members who were battling addictions. These aspects greatly influenced my life. My needs and feelings consistently took a backseat. I had so many unanswered questions about who I was and who I was meant to be. However, finding the answers was usually pushed to the side. I never had time to take care of myself. I now know the importance of self-care and taking care of my physical and mental health.

For years, I have felt that something significant happened to me in early childhood that would greatly influence my adult life. I knew that uncovering that event would finally give me the answers to all of my questions that had never been answered. It would allow me to understand why all of these trials and life lessons were in my path for me to learn and experience. Understanding what happened to me would guide me in finding out who I am and defining my purpose in life. It took so many years to figure out what this event was — over half of my lifetime! I found the answer within myself through hypnosis. It ended up being so simple, yet so complex. I was meant to help others heal within.

I now know that I can help others discover the best version of themselves.

HOW DOES HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?

My focus is you! I will listen to what your goals are and what is limiting you or holding you back from being the best that you can be. I will then structure a hypnotherapy session customized for your needs. Like a snowflake, no two sessions are the same. Appointments usually last 1.5 - 2 hours.

HOW DOES HYPNOTHERAPY WORK?

Hypnotherapy is not magic, but you are! Hypnosis is simply working with the subconscious mind, as well as your conscious mind. The conscious mind is where your ego (we all have one) and critical thinking comes from (all that self doubt, too). The subconscious mind is the part of your mind that knows what is best for you!
